Seven Daytime Activities to Enjoy in Sydney This Spring

Now that Spring has sprung and the weather is warming up, there’s so much more motivation to get out and about in good ol’ Sydney town. Here are seven daytime activities to make the most of those precious days off this Spring…

Glebe Markets
40 Glebe Point Rd, Glebe

Open every Sunday, Glebe Markets are a fabulous mishmash of new and vintage clothes finds, arts & crafts, live music and delish street food. You’ll find something for everyone here.

White Rabbit Gallery
30 Balfour St, Chippendale

Not only is wandering around the gallery taking in all the amazing Chinese contemporary artwork a super chill way to spend the day, but they have a gem of a gift shop and also serve yummy dumplings and scones in the Tea House.

Prince Alfred Park Pool
105 Chalmers St, Surry Hills

Fancy a dip? This iconic pool is the perfect inner-city loco to relax and enjoy a Spring day. It’s also super easy to get to – just a quick walk from Central Station.

Bondi to Coogee Walk
Self Explanatory

It’s a well known fact that you are not allowed to officially call yourself a ‘Sydneysider’ until you’ve done the Bondi to Coogee walk, and upon completion you will be given a key to the city. All jokes aside, the walk is a really lovely and calming way to spend a sunny Spring day.

Flower Markets
250 Parramatta Rd, Flemington

If you’re keen to fill your nostrils with the glorious floral scent of Spring, then the Sydney Flower Markets won’t disappoint. Prepare to be surrounded by a gorgeous array of flowers, and make sure you have some cash handy to snap up some bargains.

Cumberland State Forest Tree Top Adventure Park
95 Castle Hill Rd, West Pennant Hills

If you’re feeling a little adventurous why not put your balance skills to the test 25 metres above the ground? The forest itself is also super pretty – you get the vibe that ewoks would love to make a little tree-top village in it.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Markets
Manning Bar & House – The University of Sydney

Ooh lordy, another market! Honestly, who doesn’t love a market though? The Rock ‘n’ Roll Market hosts retro music acts, and an array of vintage and alternative stalls. The next one’s rolling around on 26th November, so be sure to pop it on your calendar.
