Looking for exciting weekend plans? How about a Moët Ice Impérial Bottomless Brunch? Well, mark your calendars Sydneysiders. Sydney Brunch Club have arrived and they are ready to get creative with brunch and champagne. We were invited to their maiden voyage the Moët Ice Bottomless Brunch Cruise.
The Moët & Chandon Ice Bottomless Brunch was held aboard a superyacht on Sydney Harbour. They promised two and half hours of bottomless Moët & Chandon Ice Imperial Champagne, a brunch spread, and tunes courtesy of Dan Rowntree, the Sydney Harbour cruise, and an after-party at a secret Woolloomooloo Rooftop venue with a drink on arrival. The dress code was white and we all leant in. Many attendees dressed head to toe in white and I even managed to find a white dress lurking the back of my wardrobe.
The cruise took us from Woolloomooloo wharf to Darling Point, then to Darling Harbour, then back under the bridge to Woolloomooloo once more. The weather was perfect, not too hot but with a glorious breeze that honestly made the photo ops that more eye-catching.
The brunch portion consisted of an array of mini muffins, pastries, fruits, juices, and yoghurt parfaits. A gorgeous spread, provided by The Blonde Butler catering. They also sent out canapes. We enjoyed BLT sliders, smashed avocado crostinis, and smoked salmon on a bagel with cream cheese and capers.
Unfortunately, the team must have underestimated how thirsty the passengers would be and they did run out of Moët Ice roughly halfway through the cruise. Thankfully, they had a substitute available, however, it wasn’t of the same calibre and some attendees were less than happy. To be fair, we were on a boat, so it’s not like they could run out and get more. Most were satisfied with the substitution. And the revelries continued for the duration of the cruise.
This cruise provided a stylish outing with refreshing beverages with a gorgeous view. It was a perfect day out for a group of mates who love sipping champagne while being serenaded by a guy with a trumpet. This cruise was the first outing of Sydney Brunch Club. For those who missed out and want to enjoy a bottomless brunch for themselves, never fear. Sydney Brunch Club will be hosting the Spring Botanical Brunch on October 6th, another Moët Ice cruise on 20th October, a Melbourne Cup event, and many more themed brunches.
