With the Easter season arriving early this year, renowned Australian chocolatiers, Koko Black are back with a selection of whimsical handcrafted sweets and experiences to delight young and old alike. The Plus Ones were invited to join the brand’s “Koko Critters Getaway”, which features a range of edible chocolatey characters, and their endearing matching habitats.
As a self-professed chocolate lover, I was impressed by the brand’s tasteful invention of what they’ve called “The Critters Hideout” — a ‘Koko Critters’ experience featuring 8 pull-out drawers filled with 24 Koko Critter Milk Tiles and 32 ‘Who Am I’ playing cards. Meanwhile, the Twilight Treasure Hunt is a re-imagination of the fan-favourite Koko Burrow, with eggs and pralines to be discovered along the way.
Koko Black is no stranger to reinvention and innovation, and beyond bringing brand new items to shelves, they’ve created a playful experience that elevates Easter gifting beyond traditional sweet treats. I’ve always believed that there’s something enduringly elegant about chocolate, and Koko Black seem to do playful sophistication best.
I love that the ingredients are locally and naturally sourced, which means the desserts have a satisfying touch of sweetness that is both delicious and ethical. And because everyone around me loves chocolate — my very luck family and friends will be pampered with all natural-handcrafted Koko Black goodness this Easter.
The Koko Black Easter Range has already hopped onto Koko Black shelves, and are available to buy in store or online. Hop to it!
