Cinema, summer and food sounds like the best combination for a unique experience. Sydney Hills Outdoor Cinema came to Sydney for a month to bring us a delightful choice of movies during our favourite season of the year in Sydney – summer. 

I know that feeling of wanting to go to the cinema and not having enough options to choose from, so I was glad to hear about all the different movies on the list. Just so you know, there is a movie suitable to everyone’s tastes:  The founder, Fantastic beasts and where to find them, Trolls, The Accountant, Grease, Arrival, Underworld: Blood wars, Red Dog: True Blue, Office Christmas Party, War on Everyone, Pretty Woman, Moana, Passengers, Monster Trucks, Sing, Allied and Why Him?.

There is no place like Castle Hill Showground. I went with my plus one, we arrived early to chose the best seat for the movie and enjoyed a cider while we waited listening to the amazing music of Smooth FM in the Smooth VIP section – beautiful and comfy chairs with blankets- but, I’m not going to lie, I was a little bit jealous of the ones that were in the VIP Bell tents.

Not to mention the Koala section – there is nothing like the king sized bedroom suites. Or even just with the blanket or a chair in the grass, there is not better place to watch the movie.

The best part of this experience forgetting about the couch at home, and enjoying a moment while the sun goes down while watching a good movie under the stars.

So, if you are looking for a plan with your girlfriend or boyfriend or just a moment to chill out with your mates, put Sydney Hills outdoor cinema in your to do list and enjoy a snack, a glass of wine alongside your favourite movie. Let’s face it guys, it is too hot these days to stay inside – don’t wait any longer and go to Sydney Hills Outdoor Cinema.
