Can you think of any better place to be on a cold winter Saturday than with your best girlfriend enjoying a High Tea? I couldn’t which I was so excited to attend The High Tea Party at Crown Palladium. The High Tea Party has been running for many years and is an excellent supporter of charities across Australia, including The Cancer Council.
A ticket to The High Tea Party gives you a beautiful high tea including sparkling wine, whilst watching a fashion parade and and the chance to win prizes. Each tea sitting lasts one hour and you could pick from 4 different times across the day. The High Tea included the most delicious scones with jam and cream, delicate finger sandwiches filled with salmon, chicken and egg, savoury tarts and the most delicate sweets including eclairs, chocolate tarts and slices.
The fashion parade was very special, the models were all women who were either currently having treatment or had previously recieved treatment for cancer. The women were a diverse group across body shape and age. All were gorgeous and so brave! We were also treated to some cheeky lingerie and gorgeous dresses from stallholders at the event.
This is the perfect excuse to dress up and gather your besties, for a day of indulgence, pampering and shopping as it’s not all about tea and scones you can spend all day looking at the stall holders, which were spread out across the venue, they included items such as women’s lingerie, jewellery, make-up, candles, skin-care, clothing, food, tea, travel, essential oils and so many more.
The idea is to spend hours at this event, take your time exploring the stores, chat with the store holders and line up for some pampering sessions. We were treated to some lovely hand exfoliation, nail art, make-up tips and hair curling.
