The Pleasure Garden: The Plus Ones’ guide to Melbourne’s newest music festival

Turn up the tunes and bring the good vibes because on 10 December, The Pleasure Garden has got you covered to start your summer festival season with a bang. The Pleasure Garden is a new name to the festival circuit but those behind it have been bringing you some of the best parties over the last decade.

The focus is on providing a space where you can let your hair down in the lush surroundings of St Kilda foreshore. Located at Catani Gardens among the surrounds of shady palm trees and spectacular vistas, it offers an ideal spot for some fun in the sun.

The team behind the event has been working hard all year to secure some of the biggest names around, including The Cat Empire, The Opiuo Band, Tash Saltana, and Revolver maestro Boogs — plus many more.

This will not be your run-of-the-mill festival, The Pleasure Garden will be a day full of treats and surprises. Every effort and thought has been put into creating a boutique experience that is unparalleled in Australia.

Some of the delights of the day will be art instillations, roving performers, carnival rides, gourmet food and boutique drinks for your partying pleasure. My festival favourites Vegilicious will be there amongst the gourmet food options along with award winning pizza from 400 Gradi. Kombucha connoisseurs ‘The Good Brew Company’ will be providing their eco-friendly and down-right delicious beverages on the day to detox while you retox.

Tickets for the festival are flying out the door so don’t miss out on 2016’s most sensory festival experience.
