Choir of Man Bursts onto the Arts Centre Stage

Straight from London’s West End, The Choir of Man is pulling up a bar stool at the Arts Centre Melbourne this Summer for a night at the pub like no other.

Choir of Man first premiered in 2017 at the Edinburgh Fringe and has since gone on to wow audiences in London’s West End as well as the USA.

Featuring a wildly talented group of instrumentalists, world-class wordsmiths and sensational singers; this cast of nine guys serve it all.

This is no classic stage musical, instead there are pub renditions and excellent a cappella covers of classics by Adele, Guns N’Roses, and SIA as well as original numbers, underpinned by the real-life stories of the performers onstage.

We particularly liked how audience members were led on stage to hear some songs up close and personal. For a rendition of ‘Teenage Dream“, the willing punter seemed absolutely overjoyed by the experience.

Other highlights included tap dancer Ethan Vijn leaping from bar top to tables to the floor, all while keeping a tight rhythm with his feet and the hilarious Nathaniel Morrison who played the bartender who was looking to spice up his marriage.

Choir of Man is an unforgettable musical journey that will have you singing along and tapping your feet all night long! If you arrive early, you might even get to sit on stage and share a pint of Grand Ridge Brewery draught with the cast.

Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this fun experience as it’s only playing in Melbourne for a short time before heading up north for a series of shows in Sydney.
