Melbourne Good Food Month

Winter is not just coming, it’s already here! All Melburnians know though, that just because it’s getting cold outside, doesn’t mean you should stay home. That is especially true in June when the delicious Good Food Month returns! The month of June is packed full of tasty feature events, consisting of exclusive dinner experiences and tantalising lunches. Here are some events we are looking forward to.

Let’s Do Lunch
The much-loved Let’s Do Lunch presented by Church Road event series is a Festival Favourite for a good reason. Grab a good Melbourne lunch offering at the finest hatted restaurants for a specially curated price of $45 including a glass of Church Road wine, beer or soft drink, especially for Good Food Month visitors. We recommend checking out Maha and Matilda

The Good Food Editor’s Dinner
National Good Food Editor Ardyn Bernoth and Chief Restaurant Critic Gemima Cody have assembled some industry leaders to share their insights and anecdotes into the wonderful world of food – Jason Barratt, head chef of Halcyon House’s two-hatted restaurant Paper Daisy, Nick Mahlook, whose ocean-to-plate philosophy keeps Melbourne’s The Atlantic Group very busy, and Nikki To, the woman behind some simply delicious food images.

The Night Noodle Markets
While technically not part of Good Food Month (in June), in our eyes every month should be full of good food. The team at Good Food Month also oversea this excellent foodie feast in November, which we recommend every year. The Melbourne Night Noodle Markets will return to Birrarung Marr from November 7 – 24, 2019 with all your favourite street food stalls from some of Melbourne’s favourite restaurants.
