QV Melbourne certainly know how to welcome the summer, opening this season’s QV Outdoor Cinema with Carrie Bradshaw and her crew. Sex and the City was the launching film, and guests arrived in style amongst a pristine red carpet, live entertainment, and free-flowing cosmopolitans. My plus one and I were ‘Carried’ away amongst an atmosphere of feathers and sequin dresses, a live vocalist and sax player, along with DJ dance tunes whilst deliciously sipping on our cocktails.

A photo booth was also situated in the corner, with fun head costumes and novelty cut-outs of champagne, Carrie Quotes and of course, iconic designer handbags and Manolo Blahniks. There were definitely nice take-home pics to capture the night. And as we took our seats, we were delivered with a delightful soft serve treat embedded on a fairy floss cloud. Saah cute!

From a 360 eye line, QV Outdoor Cinema is centred amongst super modern CBD buildings and surroundings. As you tilt your head, the night sky is perfect to top the summer evening.  Guests sit in comfy deck chairs on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s all accompanied with high quality stereo wireless headphones — an excellent touch to watching the film undisturbed.

QV Outdoor Cinema is definitely an experience to book in your diary this summer — for a cute date night, ladies night, or family night. You can even bring your blanket just in case it gets chillier throughout the evening.  This really is a beautiful Melbourne outdoor cinema setting, and I highly recommend you put this on you to-do list.
