Coburg Night Market (free): every Friday until 18 December – “Market-goers can shop local artisan wares, experience the tastes of food trucks and international food sellers and listen to some of Melbourne’s best musicians across two stages.”
B.East Blues Parties (free): 4 December – “If you are in the mood for a tasty burger and a blues party, you know where you need to be on the first Friday of the month.”
Summertime Party @ Arts House (free): 5 December – “Arts House is set to ignite the dance floor, host free games provided by Freeplay, hold art workshops throughout the evening, and provide us all with a free selection of fresh fruits, summer foods, cheeses and other snacks.”
Summertime Cinema (free) @ City of Boroondara: 5, 12, 19 December – “Each film in the series is reflective of the key theme in this year’s series of dance. With choices to BYO rug and picnic or buy some treats from the cuisine onsite, cinema goers are warmed up with pre- screening entertainment which will have everyone enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.”
The Bureau: 11 December – “Wrap up the work year and welcome the summer at the bureau, a boutique festival fusing the best of food and music culture. this new kid on the block is set to be Melbourne’s biggest end-of-year break up party.” Enter our competition for your chance to WIN tickets.
Twilight Christmas Festival @ Rippon Lea w/ National Trust: 11 December – “Experience twilight in the beautiful Rippon Lea Gardens. There will be artisan and craft market stalls with great gift ideas, local choirs and lots of activities.”
Summer Warehouse Party (Free): 17 December – “Expect a 2 hour András DJ Set, a night of dancing, good conversation and a selection of drinks sponsored by the good folk at Vale Ale.”
Santacon (free): 19 December – picture 500 Santas dancing through the streets of the Melbourne CBD. “We have art, roving live performances and a route of roots around the city. There will be music, recreation, taste. Put the date aside, and start prepping your gizmatics. Other Santas await your presence.”
