Heineken Saturdays – Rudimental Plays the Australian Grand Prix

Formula 1 trackside action, accompanied by some of the countries most respected DJs and one massive international live act does sound good to be true. Add some ice cold Heineken to the mix and you have yourself one perfect day.

If beer and beats is your chosen religion then Heineken Saturday is your church. The line up contained the likes of Hayden James, Andy Murphy and UK superstars Rudimental. The Heiniken Dancers stole the limelight again and again over the couse of the day with their gravity defying antics and killer moves.

The weather had been taking a turn to winter lately but the sun gods blessed Albert Park for one last weekend of summer. There was so much high octane action on and off the track throughout the day. The fighter jet took to the skys during Hayden James’s set that seen his beats take on the ear shattering roars in a verses set of supersonic proportions.

While the whole day was action packed, things really climaxed with Rudimentals stellar performance. These four boys have played to sold out stadiums across the world over the last year and to have them grace the Heineken Saturday stage was huge. Heineken went all out on the production with smoke jets, fireworks and insane lighting throughout the show.

The only downside was that it had to end as we could have easily partied on into the night. It will be a hard one to top for next year but my plus one and I cant wait to see what they have in store  for us.
