The holidays are coming up – and what better way to celebrate than by sharing a great meal with your family and friends?
Oriental Teahouse shares that belief, which is why they’ve created two take-home dumpling packs, taking the guesswork out of holiday lunches.
The packs showcase some of Oriental Teahouse’s finest dumplings, with the Dumpling Lover Pack including prawn and mushroom, veggie, pan-fried pork and chive, lemongrass and chicken and authentic prawn dumplings, with a side of BBQ pork buns and house-made chilli oil.
The non-meat eaters have been catered for too, with a Plant-based Pack that includes mushroom dumplings, pan-fried veggie dumplings, veggie spring rolls, buddha buns, and house-made chilli oil.
I had the pleasure of trying the Plant-based Pack and as a long-time veggie, highly recommend it. It’s always a pleasure having vegan food that’s been thoughtfully created – and with Oriental Teahouse, you can tell that a lot of thought has been put into the flavours and ingredients of the foods. The dumplings, both mushroom and pan-fried, were flavourful and filling, and the veggie spring rolls were chef-quality crunchy.
The highlights of the pack were, for me, the Buddha buns and house-made chilli oil. The oil was the ideal blend of sweet, salty and chilli, and complimented all elements of the Plant-based pack wonderfully.
The Buddha buns were satisfying for even the meat-eaters. The dough was soft and billowy and the filling was perfectly seasoned – so good that even my partner, who’s a meat-eater, went back for seconds.
Best of all, the cooking instructions were clear and easy to follow. There was no guesswork, everything was clearly labelled and approachable for even a beginner cook.
The dumpling packs prove that Oriental Teahouse provides a world-class experience regardless of where you’re eating, whether at home or in-store. So why not consider them for Christmas lunch this year? Their feasting menu will undoubtedly be a crowd-pleaser.
