Melbourne Greats Party

Spend an evening lingering amongst Melbourne legends Andrew McConnell (Cutler & Co, Cumulus Inc, Supernormal) and Alla Wolf-Tasker (Lake House) at the official launch party of Good Food Month. Both chefs will prepare signature canapes, paired with bespoke cocktails, and live DJ music  at Melbourne Palms, an exclusive Good Food Month pop-up restaurant. The Federation Square pop-up is themed after the luxurious desert oasis Palm Springs, playing host to international and home-grown chefs, inspiring talks and dinner collaborations from 13-23 June.

The Melbourne Greats Party takes place on 13 June, with tickets from $99 which can be purchased here.

Fire Feast

Nothing says heart-warming winter food like an open flame roasted feast. Chefs Danielle Alvarez (Fred’s) and Duncan Welgemoed (Africola) bring us firey goodness in the form of canapes, flame cooked meats, and bottomless wine and beer. Expect dishes like squid and pancetta skewers, smoked mussels, fire roasted suckling pig, and chargrilled peri peri chicken.

Danielle’s feast takes place on 16 June and Duncan’s feast is 23 June. Be sure to check the menus, because they both have different dishes on offer! Tickets can be purchased from $120.

Date Nights are always the same: damn good food, a fantastic film, and a scoop of the best artisanal ice cream in town. Date Night with Melbourne burger institution 8-Bit and legendary Pastry Chef Christy Tania’s Glacé Frozen delivers on all fronts. Get ready for the ultimate foodie date night! Indulge in a juicy 8-Bit burger, their famous waffle fries, and a choc top from  Glacé Frozen, while watching a classic film!

Date Night will be screening The Breakfast Club on 19 June and The Wedding Singer on 22 June, with tickets from $60.
