Ticket to Paradise

Is there a better on-screen couple than George and Julia? Ticket to Paradise sees Academy Award winners George Clooney and Julia Roberts reunite on the big screen as exes who find themselves on a shared mission to stop their lovestruck daughter from making the same supposed mistake they once made in getting hitched on a whim.

Despite being set in Bali, Ticket to Paradise was filmed in sunny Queensland. The locations are stunning and reminded my plus one and I how much we needed to escape Melbourne this spring and get out for some sunshine. Directed by Ol Parker (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, writer of the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel films), the comedy is sharp and banter always flows seamlessly between the stars. George Clooney and Julia Roberts have the perfect on-screen chemistry and we could watch them for hours. Throw in the tropical location, some crazy supporting characters and a romantic side story and you have a winning rom com about the sweet surprise of second chances.
