Coffee lovers, meet your new coffee haven in Richmond. Veneziano Coffee opens in the Veneziano Roastery headquarters with a trendy warehouse style café, tasting room, and training rooms. What more could a caffeine addict want?
The River Street headquarters and roastery has been in operation since 2014 roasting and distributing coffee beans nation-wide. The newly opened café joins onto the roastery with an open-air industrial feel, floor to ceiling factory windows, polished concrete floors, exposed steel beams offset with leafy greenery, and a massive wood and steel coffee bar centrepiece.
The entrance greets visitors with a window view into the roastery and the words “we go out of our way to find coffee worth talking about…” plastered across the glass. We’re a testament to the sign; Veneziano Coffee has definitely been the name on our lips this month, and the guys at Veneziano sure know a thing or two about how to make a good brew.
Home to some of Melbourne’s and the world’s finest baristas including Craig Simon, two-time Australian Barista Champion; Jack Allisey, 2017 Runner Up World Champion Coffee Roaster; Jade Jennings, Victorian Barista Champion 2017 and 2016; and too many more to list.
On the menu, you’ll find a wide spread of original creations and beloved classics including house made hemp seed granola with coconut milk yoghurt, The Cubano Sandwich with 12hr slow cooked pork, and the wagyu beef burger with smoked raclette.
Caffeinated beverages include a range of blends and single origins from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Colombia, all roasted to perfection by Veneziano.
Veneziano is the perfect place to get your caffeine fill or learn more about cupping (coffee tasting) or the art of making the perfect coffee. They run training courses focusing on everything from tasting, to roasting, and barista training from beginner to advanced.
