We got to check the whole thing out at Hightail’s Launch Party. It was an exotic affair. A peacock Brazilian dancer greeted guests at the door, balancing two platters full of fruity cocktails. We met a snake tamer (snake in tote, of course), and mingled among a sea of wildly dressed jungle beings (the dress code for the night).
It’s hard to imagine all of this is located in the heart of Collins Square – one of Melbourne’s most prominent business complexes. Hightail is a welcome addition and good distraction from the plethora of coffee shops and cafes in CBD office buildings. It brings spunk, attitude, and plenty of comfort food to an otherwise serious corporate atmosphere.
