Sydney supper clubs – the definitive list

Supper clubs are those most wily of creatures. Every time you hear about them, they’re already over, it seems – leaving in their wake beautiful photos and videos of incredible experiences you missed out on by a matter of days…

Not to worry. The Plus Ones have trawled the corners of the internet to find all of the current active supper clubs across Sydney in 2026. From Marrickville to Paddington, Surry Hills to Wolloomooloo to…Darlinghurst (yes, they almost all seem to be in the Eastern Suburbs), we’ve found THE places to be.

Usually held either in a private residence, a cafe, even a workspace (or failing that, a private room in a restaurant) supper clubs aren’t potlucks. They’re not workshops. They’re also not quite dinner parties. They are, however, all about private chefs & cooks pulling out the stops for a never-again-to-be-repeated type evening, replete with incredible food and diners who are inveterate urban explorers.

Most of the 12 current supper clubs in Sydney are run by young women. There must just be something in the air right now as Gen Z carves out their own niche of IRL events (it’s not all about 6am run clubs…). Regardless, there’s a supper club catering (ha) for just about everyone – including people in their 50s and 60s, gender-diverse folks, and those who enjoy Asian cuisine. But if you see a niche to fill? Perhaps you’d like to start your own!

Here’s to:

  • Supporting local chefs
  • Visiting new venues
  • Meeting amazing people
  • Getting out of your bubble!
