Set against the iconic vineyards of Bimbadgen Estate, A Day on the Green once again delivered an energetic night of live music with The Script returning to Australia for the first time in four years. Headlining the festival as part of their Satellites World Tour, the Irish pop-rock band proved why they remain one of the most loved acts down under.
Forming in 2001, The Script has racked up over 10 billion streams, five Top 10 ARIA albums, and a string of hits that have cemented their songs around the world. The day’s lineup included standout performances from Calum Scott, Montaigne, X Ambassadors, and Lotte Gallagher.

Although member Glen Power was absent from the Australian leg of the tour due to personal reasons, frontman Danny O’Donoghue carried the show with effortless Irish charm – with his energy and storytelling between songs. Danny sang favourites including Breakeven, Superheroes, and The Man Who Can’t Be Moved.
As the sun set over the vineyards, Danny also performed Hall of Fame, See Me Now (a lovely tribute to his parents) and his latest single At Your Feet – which was inspired by a British football commentator’s phrase.

For those looking for tickets to their shows, you’re in (Irish) luck! Tickets are still available for the remainder of The Script’s Australia tour (except Sydney) – January and February 2025.
