Marra Bar & Grill – quintessentially Coogee.

With summer in full swing, Coogee Bay Hotel’s Marra Bar & Grill has unveiled a vibrant menu that captures the essence of modern Australian cuisine. Think fresh, local, coastal ingredients that make you feel like you’ve been whisked to Europe for a hot minute.

Crafted by Chef Nathan Tillott, Marra Bar’s new menu is designed for sharing offering two, three, and four-course options. Choose from small and large plates, coupled with generous sides like fries or green leaf-salad. Sip on curated cocktails (try the Watermelon Margarita and thank us later) or pick from a long list that celebrates Australia’s finest wine regions. For non-drinkers, the refreshing Grapefruit Spritz is perfect for warm days in the sun.

The menu has something for everyone – start with chilled tiger prawns which are served unbelievably fresh, pepper squid (served in a gorgeous smoky, salt seasoning) and Josper (a unique-open oven) grilled octopus. For those wanting something smaller with drinks – the cheese board, or Jamon, with shaved melon is a must.

For mains opt for the crispy pork belly with shaved fennel, the scotch fillet (300g) served with paris mash, or their signature dish – QLD tiger prawn spaghetti with lobster butter, chilli, tomatoes and lemon, a dish that was made for sharing, or having one to yourself!

For those with a sweet tooth, choose from mango & passionfruit ice-cream with lemon curd and Champagne jelly, frozen crème caramel or a velvety dark choc & raspberry parfait sandwich, served slightly chilled.

Designed for all-day dining and unwinding with friends, Marra Bar & Grill is quintessentially Coogee and one that should be at the top of your summer-dining list.
