Forget the usual socks this Father’s Day and treat Dad to something truly special.
In celebration of Father’s Day, Tomatin Whisky has teamed up with MISC Parramatta to curate a unique ‘Scotch & Steak’ dinner. This exclusive dining experience is the perfect gift for any Dad or Father figure in your life.
Available every Thursday from August 1st until Father’s Day in early September, this dinner features dishes thoughtfully paired with Tomatin whisky by MISC’s Head Chef, Sebastian Geray. Each meal from the menu pairs perfectly with Tomatin served neat, on the rocks or in a variety of cocktails, including the Tomatin Whisky Sour, Old Fashioned, or Tomatin Americano.
What stands out about this menu is Chef Sebastian’s skillful pairing of each dish with the addition of Tomatin 12 Year Old Single Malt. Tomatin is renowned for its smoothness and distinctive character, with the Highland Single Malt Scotch featuring flavour notes of crème caramel, apples, pears, and mango for a full-bodied, buttery finish.
Some menu highlights incorporate the whisky into the ingredients to create a rich sauce, or perfect pairing along with a taste of the Scotch – served neat of course. The pillowy focaccia is infused and caramelised in a Tomatin glaze which pairs perfectly with the 1kg Rib Eye that is served with a Tomatin sauce.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Tomatin-infused sponge in MISC’s signature Bombe Alaska is a delight! Crunchy hazelnuts and creamy Swiss meringue marry, with whisky infused vanilla and almond cake. To finish, the Tomatin Whisky truffles are velvety and pair perfectly with an Old Fashioned.
Set against the heritage-listed Parramatta Park, the venue’s elevated and effortlessly cool interiors provide the ideal backdrop for this celebration. MISC is a place where families and friends meet to enjoy deliciously inviting food.
To make this Father’s Day truly unforgettable, book your ‘Scotch & Steak’ dinner at MISC Parramatta. It’s not just a meal but a celebration of Tomatin Scotch and the special bond you share with your Dad.
Here’s to creating lasting memories and toasting ‘to what matters’.
