Sydney! It’s getting hotter, and so is your social calendar. This month has some of Sydney’s most amazing events on, from theatre, to food, to music, we’ve got you covered. There’s something for everyone, so get excited and have an amazing month.

The Belligerents Sydney (4 Nov)
The Belligerents are going on tour, with a stop in Sydney! Their new album, Science Fiction, is sure to impress. Hurry before tickets sell out.

The High Tea Party (4-5 Nov)
The High Tea Party gives you a beautiful high tea with sparkling wine at a five star venue whilst watching a gorgeous fashion parade. Don’t forget the shopping! Yack Festival (5 Nov)
Yack Festival will showcase some of Sydney’s most innovative comedians, writers, commentators and filmmakers in a day of provocative spoken word and comedy. There’ll be talk of race, religion, gender, and conflict, all the topics you were told not to bring up at dinner, in one place at one time.

Wine Island (10-12 Nov)
Wine Island is Sydney’s most extravagant wine event. Rejoice! Lovers of good wine, great food, and who can appreciate amazing views of Sydney harbour will find themselves in a tropical heaven. It spans over a few days, so this is not to be missed.

Newtown Festival (12 Nov)
It’s time to celebrate Newtown’s uniqueness, vibrancy and accepting community during Newtown Festival. With live music, plenty of stalls, and unique entertainment, it’s the perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday.

Street Party for Marriage Equality (15 Nov)
No matter the result of the Marriage Equality Survey, Sydney-siders are coming together to celebrete the LGBTQI+ community, and demand marriage equality. Oxford Street will come alive with music, dancing, and LOTS of glitter.

The Carnival of Lost Souls (16 Nov)
The Carnival of Lost Souls tells the tragic tale of unrequited love and loss, set amongst the mayhem and splendor of a late 1800’s Circus. Featuring some of Australia’s best physical entertainers and musicians, the audience is taken on an amazing mystical journey.

Project Botanicals (16-19 Nov)
Bombay Sapphire invites you on a sensory adventure to the ends of the earth, where the gin’s botanicals are sourced. An immersive experience of cocktails, food, and creative technology in collaboration with TA-KU, Studio Neon and Australia’s best cocktail bars.

George Takei Phenomenon (20 Nov)
Join Star Trek Legend, Social Media Sensation, and Human Rights Activist George Takei when he takes the stage for his exciting show at the State Theatre. It’s sure to be an interesting night.

SummerSalt Festival (26 Nov)
Under our radiant, abundant, and generous Australian sun, SummerSalt will debut an outdoor music tour. With artists like The Cat Empire to bring the party, it’s the perfect way to kick off the summer.
