Five Best Dog-Friendly Places in Sydney

There’s nothing like puppy love! It can be extremely sad to say goodbye to your dog when you leave the house, so why not take them out and about with you? Have a pawsome time with your furry bestie with these five dog-friendly spots in Sydney.

Cafe Bones

1 Canal Rd, Leichhardt

Cafe Bones is the world’s first dog friendly cafe. You can enjoy a cappuccino, and treat your pet to a Pupaccino! The cafe also has an amazing range of gourmet dog biscuits.

Sirius Cove Reserve

Mosman

This popular off-leash beach on the North Shore is a great place to have a run around in the shallows with your dog. It also has a large grassy area with BBQs, a playground, and the reserve boasts amazing harbour views.

The Grand National Hotel

161 Underwood St, Paddington

This pub is doggo friendly! Unlike other drinking establishments, where your dog is restricted to the outdoor area, your dog is welcome to sit inside with you into the front bar. The puppers aren’t allowed in the bistro area though.

Chew Chew Pet Restaurant

Shirley Rd & Telopea St, Wollstonecraft

At Chew Chew Pet Restaurant, your dog can reap the benefits of eating organic. The meals here are made to order, and the dogs can eat inside or al fresco. They have doggie cappuccinos (goats milk sprinkled with liver chips), and even hold super cute birthday ceremonies for your much loved pup!

Doggy Day Care Farm Trips

Somersby

So this isn’t actually a place that you can enjoy with your dog, but I just couldn’t resist including it in the list. Their doggy day care farm trip features a 12-acre rural playground for your pupper. Do yourself a favour and check out their Instagram @doggydaycarefarmtrips. Just seeing how much fun the dogs are having is sure to brighten your day. You can also check an interesting post on pet insurance on Fuzzy Rescue.
