Keeping It Cool at the MJ Bale Activation

Would you dare to put on a 100% wool suit jacket and sit in a 47℃ sauna for minutes on end? Well, we did just that when we were invited to the MJ Bale activation at their Chifley Plaza store – and not to brag but we didn’t even break a sweat.

Thanks to their new line of Cool Wool suits, designed to withstand the hottest climates in the world, sitting inside their instore sauna felt like a walk in the park. The suits were actually cool to the touch after coming out.

The ‘hottest changeroom on the planet’ was set to a sweltering 47℃ (117℉), to coincide with the current temperature in Death Valley, California, where English TV presenter and weatherman, Alex Beresford, is currently putting the MJ Bale Cool Wool suit to the test in the scorching heat (and spoiler alert, he’s coming out on top).

After lounging in the sauna, we enjoyed a mouth-watering spread of breads and cheeses, and were then treated to a tasting of Johnnie Walker Black, Green and Blue Label Whiskeys, conducted by the knowledgeable Simon McGoram, the Diageo National Whiskey Ambassador for Australia.

The new line of Cool Wool suits have a classic, timeless design with high-end tailoring, and will be the perfect staple for the modern gentleman looking to be stylish, but keep their cool in the upcoming Australian summer season.
