It’s no surprise that Parramatta is becoming the place to be, and even more so now that ALEX&Co has arrived. It’s the latest café, bar and restaurant to join Parra’s ever growing dining precinct and let me tell you, it’s spectacular.
We were invited to the exclusive launch of this rustic chic restaurant, which showcased many of the drinks and dishes from their outstanding menu. Dancers greeted us in rose gold sequins whilst blues inspired music played throughout the perfectly lit venue. As guests arrived, we were treated to ever flowing glasses of Veuve Clicquot and Chivas Regal apple and cinnamon inspired cocktails to really start the night off on a high. Creamy pumpkin and goats cheese risotto, crispy salt and pepper octopus, freshly chucked oysters and scallops tossed in a cucumber and watercress relish were just a few of the items from their menu that we devoured. I’d highly recommend ordering the scallops when you visit – I couldn’t stop at one!
Fresh flowers and minimalist table decorations adorned the open spaced restaurant while ferns and art inspired pieces were seen throughout the restaurant. ALEX&Co is the ultimate place for lunch or dinner with friends, especially those that dine with a big group.
The atmosphere at ALEX&Co is impressive and offers so much more than just a restaurant for dinner. The bar is a must for after work drinks, or a café catch-up with friends.
ALEX&Co will quickly become your new favourite, and what’s not to love about this beautiful place?
