A sensory overload starring one of our favourite gins, Hendrick’s promises a ‘delightfully peculiar theatrical cocktail experience’. Tickets include three cocktails — what could be better?

The Blue Picnic (Sat. 3 June)

The title says it all: this is a place where you wear blue clothing, while eating and drinking blue food. (Yes, food colouring is encouraged.) It’s all happening in a hidden harbourside park to boot.

The inaugural Chilli Festival promises chilli (the stew) and chillies (the firey peppers). You can eat, you can watch — you can even drink chilli-infused cocktails at the host The Bank Hotel.

Supanova (16-18 June)

Comic Con fans, this one’s for you. This huge multi-day convention sees cosplayers rubbing shoulders with aficionados of all stripes. Lovers of fantasy, sci-fi, comics can all find something to enjoy.

Our favourite Game of Thrones-esque wine festival returns! Costumes are encouraged (the winemakers will all be wearing them, too). Why not dress as a follower of R’hllor, the Red God, while you sample red wines?

The Moth: GrandSLAM (Thur. 22 June)

Storytelling behemoth The Moth (of podcast fame) hosts its first ever Sydney grandSLAM. 10 of the best storytellers at previous incarnations of The Moth will compete to have the winning tale.

Underground Cinema: DREAM (Thur. 22 June)

A secret film, in an unknown location — these are the two main ingredients in all UGC productions. Part immersive theatre, part movie, all fun. There are still some spots in their Thursday screening, so snap them up!

Dragfest (22-25 June)

For the second year, RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants are gracing Australia with their presence. Get up close with the famous drag queens from your fave tv show, in addition to Sydney’s best local queens.

Double Bay Dog Day (Sat. 24 June)

Doggos, puppers, and floofs will be out in force in Double Bay. Pick up some food, listen to some music, and watch the canine massages, doggie finger/paw painting, or just pet your favourite long bois.
