I found myself sitting on a designer cardboard chair on top of a parking spot in a carpark in Double Bay. Not my average Saturday night I might say, but a very unique and special one. Looking at a runway ahead and some very artistically placed plastic bubbles in the middle of it, I waited with full anticipation of what was to come next.
Undress Runways believes in looking good, responsibly, as they say. It was all ab out organic fabrics, zero-waste collections, ethically produced garments and recycled accesories. Sustainable fashion in its true sense.
There were over 20 fantastic designers who presented their collection and all of them had their own unique twist on chic sustainability. Some had bathers, others had dresses; some were high-fashion while others were down to earth. I saw the most beautiful vintage recycled fashion and quite a few unique designs with a personal touch in all of them.
