Riverside has made it easy for all of us who are passionate about film. They have industry personality Peter Castaldi to curate, put together and make possible the screening of a film program perfect for cinema lovers.
With such wide experience in programming for film festivals and television, Peter Castaldi has carefully curated a program that includes, all time classics to recent films by local and International directors.
There are lots of films out there that deserve to be screened over and over again, not only for the sake of the films themselves, but for us, as film enthusiasts and coming generations to keep them alive. This way we can keep enjoying them and they can keep teaching us and show their unique universe that we can all be immerse in. However, with Castaldi in Focus spectators will get to enjoy these films the way we all wish we could appreciate them at the cinema, which is also followed by a proper Q&A. People wont only be going to a single screening since they will also be part of a post-screening chat with Peter Castaldi and his special guests where they will interact with the audience and viceverza.
Castaldi in Focus believes that each of the films from the program deserve to be revisited if they are all time classics, or if not, deserve a chance to be shown in Australia because they are rare gems that do not get the chance of a widespread commercial release. In either case, attendees will go home satisfied for having made it to a unique film experience. Tickets include film screening, Q&A with special guest and snacks and drinks.
