Token Sushi Club Brings Bottomless Sushi to Melbourne

Token Sushi Club is one of those concepts that just makes sense. Unlimited sushi, a set 90-minute window, and a menu that keeps things fun without overthinking it. Running Friday to Sunday from 12pm to 3pm, it’s an easy pick for a weekend session that can be chilled, or slightly competitive, depending on which of your mates you bring along.

We sat down, had a quick look at the menu, and got straight into it. The format is simple. Pick what you want, keep it coming, and try not to peak too early. The signature rolls are where it shines. The Firecracker had a nice bit of heat with chilli crisp, the Salmon Affair was fresh and easy, and the Wagyu Surf & Turf leaned more indulgent.

The hand rolls are worth getting involved in. The truffle beef one was rich and a little messy in the best way, while the spicy tuna kept things balanced. It’s the kind of setup where you keep saying “one more round” and suddenly the 90 minutes is almost up.

There’s also plenty of nigiri and smaller rolls to keep things ticking along. Salmon, tuna, kingfish. Nothing too complicated, just reliable and easy to go back to between the heavier options.

We added the free-flow drinks and didn’t regret it. The sake spritz and 196’s went down so easy we lost count.

Token Sushi Club isn’t trying to be high-end. It’s social, it’s fun, and it does exactly what you want it to do. Come hungry, bring a group, and make the most of the 90 minutes.
