Hungry? Get some Nosh!

My plus one and I were invited down for a menu tasting at the hip casual Japanese eatery, Nosh. They have locations all over Melbourne and we got to experience their Galleria spot. Nosh is a fantastic destination for anyone seeking casual Japanese dining with a modern twist.

Specialising in fresh bowls, onigiri, bao buns and nori tacos, they offer a fresh take on traditional favorites that are both delicious and satisfying. The onigiri, DIY style, is topped with a variety of ingredients like salmon, teriyaki chicken, crispy eggplant, hits the perfect balance of rice and filling, creating a delightful bite that’s flavorful yet light. Each piece showcases the freshness and quality of the ingredients.

What really sets Nosh apart, though, are their nori tacos. These crispy seaweed shells are filled with options like tempura prawns, salmon sashimi, or tofu, providing a crunchy twist on familiar flavors. The fusion of textures and flavors makes each taco a treat that’s as exciting as it is tasty, and we loved the balance between the crisp nori and the soft, flavorful fillings.
