Alleluja. ‘Church’ is a glorious variety show playing at The Midsumma Festival

Queerly beloved, please gather together and give praise Church is playing as part of the Midsumma Festival. Church is a variety show that will make you feel fabulous just for being in the audience and more alive at the end of the night than when you walked through those hallowed venue doors. The show features a line up of top notch alt performers in a sexy, shimmering night at The Toff. You’ll marvel at drag legend Kween Kong’s gymnastics moves (in heels), get your groove on with Ruby Slippers, snap your fingers to Georgia Hoopers powerful beat poetry, and sing along with Reuben Kaye. The show is deftly hosted by Six Inches Uncut, includes an Auslan interpreter and is backed by a live choir. It also includes best kind of audience participation — fun and optional. (I highly recommend you come prepared to confess your sins to the confessional box.) Church is a two hour show that will make you want to get down on your knees and pray for more.

It’s running for five nights only as part of the Midsumma Festival. This heavenly, hedonistic show has been selling out with good reason; if there are still tickets available, GO. You can thank us later.
