Watson Go to Hell MICF

Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2017: Watson – Go To Hell

Malthouse Theatre meets the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Watson – Go To Hell is performed at the Beckett Theatre in Southbank. The three leading funnies — Adam McKenzie, Tegan Higginbotham, and Liam Ryan –will keep you laughing, frightened, laughing than a little frightened again.

This horror-comedy will make you face your internal fears. But how do we deal with the fear? We laugh it off.

Performances by the three are very well executed. Set with minimal stage design, the story is carried out by the hilarious performances along with hyper-naturalistic costumes. You’ll be laughing at talking teddy bears, clowns reminiscent of Stephen King — even a devilish woman in black from the depths of the haunted box.

This comedy will leave you in shock/horror laughter. (I was left sitting with constant laughter because I couldn’t contain the scary stuff that I hated when I was a kid.)

This tight little one-hour show is perfect for a mid week laugh. Something to break up your working week with a beverage from Coopers Bar before the show.

I promise you’ll be laughing. And I certainly promise you’ll look at your fears in different way after the show in a funny way. Promise.
