Melbourne in April is all about the Comedy Festival however we scoured 1,000 events occurring in April to find 5 that we can’t wait to get to!

Comedy Festival (25 March to April 19) – We pored through 500 Melbourne Comedy Festival shows to bring you our Best Of The Fest! Better yet – we’re giving one lucky person to win 13x double passes to our favourite performances – Ultimate Comedy Festival Giveaway.

Melbourne Latin Festival (April 4-7) – “Latin America is taking over Melbourne once again in a three-day dancing festival of performances, workshops and parties. For the first time ever, the Melbourne Latin Festival (MLF) is moving to Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance in North Melbourne where performers and participants from around the world will share their greatest passion”

Women’s Ride (April 12) – “Your ride. Your friends. Your day. The Women’s Ride is a single day celebration of women’s riding. It’s Victoria’s first mass participation riding event designed especially for women. We are inviting women, girls and families to be a part of this unique day and sign up for one of our many rides and events.”

Chilli Festival (April 19) – “Chilli Chilli Bang Bang! Autumn is guaranteed to heat up with punch–packing chilli dishes from the best street food big-hitters. Sample and learn about chilli and how they are used in all types of delicious international dishes. Try mouth watering noodles and curries, exotic cakes, chilli beer and more”

Old Melbourne Gaol Pop-Up Bar (April 24) – “Experience the Old Melbourne Gaol in a new light when it’s transformed into a pop-up whisky bar for one night only. Your ticket gives you access to all areas of the Gaol.” We’ve been before and loved it!
